God's Little Creatures Rescue
God's Little Creatures Rescue and Fuddrucker's Restaurant in College Station are holding a fundraiser all day July 23. The purpose is to raise much-needed funds for God's Little Creatures Rescue - non-profit, no-kill private animal shelter.
How it Works: Patrons can come in to Fuddrucker's any time on the day of July 23rd, say they want to support
God's Little Creatures Rescue, and a portion of the proceeds from their bill
will be donated to GLCR.

Voices for Children
Voices for Children will present its second annual “Coaches for Children” at 6:30 p.m. on July 31, hosted by C&J Barbecue in Bryan. Head football coaches from Consolidated, Bryan and Rudder High Schools will present their plans and hopes for the 2008 season. The chief purpose of “Coaches for Children” is to recruit male volunteers for VFC. Anyone interested in learning about VFC as well as enjoying a preview of high school football in B/CS is invited to this free event.

Low-cost Spay Neuter Clinic Opens in Brenham
The Brazos Valley's new low cost spay / neuter & wellness clinic has opened to the public. Located in Brenham at The Village, the new Connie Clinic has opened it's doors to welcome anyone who has animals needing to be spayed, neutered, or for routine vaccinations. Connie Clinic is located at 3901 Hwy 36 N in Brenham. Surgeries are scheduled Wednesday through Saturday with check in at 7:00 A.M. and animals required to be picked up before 6:00 P.M. Voices for Children
Help a child find a permanent home. Voices for Children, Inc. is seeking volunteers to become Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) to represent the interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse. Palmer Drug Abuse Program - Brazos Valley
PDAP.BV is the only free outpatient substance abuse recovery program for young people, ages 13-17, 18-25, and parents in the Brazos Valley. PDAP.BV offers support groups and activities structured specifically to meet the needs of young people and their families. PDAP.BV is non-sectarian and is open to anyone, free of charge, for as long as they may need our services. The only requirement for membership is a desire to live a chemical-free life.

AUTISM SUPPORT GROUP
Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center is offering Autism support group meetings on the second Tuesday of every month. The group will kick off with a Parent Mixer on October 9 from 6:30-8:30pm. Meetings are open to all
