Benefiting Breast Cancer

This year the proceeds from the Ladies Chalk Talk will go to Breast Cancer. A Silent Auction and a portion of the $50 ticket will both benefit this worthy cause. Another way to contribute to Breast Cancer at the event is to sponsor a table.

Whatever you are comfortable with in terms of your knowledge of college football — from its rudimentary rules and basic functions on the field to the strategy behind play calling and defensive alignments.

For example: if you want to learn the basic formations and philosophy behind the coaching decisions, choose Beginner. If you want to know more details about when and why a "nickel" or "dime" back enters the game, choose Intermediate. If you want to know how and why the QB selects one of three or four optional plays within seconds at the line of scrimmage, and how he checks off that call, choose Advanced.
