POBA Family Fun Run / Walk
Play Outside and Be Active. Sounds simple enough and at
one time, that's what kids did unless it was raining. But, it's
not that simple any more. There's video games, TV,
computers, and all kinds of things to distract from healthy
activities outdoors.
Jennifer Foreman, the reigning Mrs. College Station, local
teacher, and an avid runner is promoting kid's health and
family health with her POBA platform. On March 8, 2008,
Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater and Park in College Station will
be the location of the 1st POBA Family Fun Run / Walk. The
City of College Station Parks and Recreation Department and
Mrs. College Station International 2008, Jennifer Foreman,
invite all Bryan/College Station families with children ages
5-11 to participate in the POBA Family Fun Run/Walk.
