Your LifeintheBrazos.com - Citizen Journalism

Citizen Journalism

First off, just what is Citizen Journalism? It's essentially a form of Citizen Media, meaning the content is produced by private citizens who are not professional journalists. Related terms are participatory media, blogs, podcasts, digital storytelling, and more. Whatever you call it, it's people like you who are creating the content. Social media in various forms is of growing significance in our lives.

You Can Do it - Why Should You?

It's fun, and it's creative! Share your passions, your joys, and your knowledge. Help others, and learn from the experience yourself. And above all, COMMUNICATE! That is after all the reason we write!

How do I Get Started?

EMAIL us at LifeintheBrazos.com, providing your contact information, and areas of interest in writing.

What is Expected of Me as a CJ?

We have no requirements for number of articles or frequency of submissions. You will be expected to agree to and follow our terms of use. We are providing our viewers a means to publish articles on our Hyperlocal Regional Media web site. In return, you must make every effort to be accurate, publish original content only, treat others fairly and with respect, adhere to "general audience" standards, conduct yourself with integrity, avoid derogatory, antagonistic or poor behavior in general, avoid the use of profanity, and never do anything to compromise the integrity of LifeintheBrazos.com. See Full Terms and Conditions.
Essentially......it's not that hard, just be nice and enjoy the use of our media where "It's All Here For You!" Rules are mainly for those would break them.
