Central Baptist Church, Sundays, 6:00 p.m. in B212, beginning February 15th, 2009 and running through June 7, 2009. Meetings will not be held on 3/8, 4/12, 4/19, and 5/10. This is a special weekly seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close. It's a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. You'll learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time in your life. Join us and find comfort and care to help you heal from your loss. The class is free. Angel Food Ministries
The Lighthouse Bible Church offers $60 - $70 worth of food for less than half of this through its Angel Food Ministry. There are no qualifications and checks, money orders, cash, as well as food stamps or loan star cards are accepted. Visit their website or Angel Food Ministries for more details.
Palmer Drug Abuse Program - Brazos Valley
PDAP.BV is the only free outpatient substance abuse recovery program for young people, ages 13-17, 18-25, and parents in the Brazos Valley. PDAP.BV offers support groups and activities structured specifically to meet the needs of young people and their families. PDAP.BV is non-sectarian and is open to anyone, free of charge, for as long as they may need our services. The only requirement for membership is a desire to live a chemical-free life. PDAP.BV meets every Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm at Christ United Methodist Church (Annex Building). The address is 4203 Highway 6 South, College Station, Tx 77845.
