| Fall in the Brazos Valley is that time of year when it just feels so good outside that it makes you rejoice in the simple pleasures and just being alive! Any excuse to be outdoors will do, but when it's in a beautiful setting such as the Fountain Plaza at University Town Center, and you're able to see works by some of the best professional artists in the region, that was all the "excuse" I needed to head for University Drive in College Station. |

University Town Center, College Station, Texas - a fabulous setting for any event. |
On the run as usual in my role as the Brazos Valley Reporter, I arrived with the intent of staying for about 15 minutes. However, when the setting looks like this, the weather was perfect, the art was great, and the people were so friendly......it was almost 2 hours later when I left! |

If you haven't yet been to the Fountain Plaza, this is a treat you owe yourself, especially at sunset on a beautiful Fall afternoon. One of the new "Treasures of the Brazos Valley", University Town Center is a great place to go. |

Gje Lee, Marketing Director, Boston's Gourmet Pizza and Linda Chateau, Mumford Fine Arts say there will be more shows and the shows will be expanded, including live music on the square. The artists here were the "Best of the Brazos" and are nationally or internationally known. Look for another show in the April 2008 timeframe. We'll keep you posted at LifeintheBrazos.com.

Art shows are just one of numerous events planned for University Town Center. There's something here for the whole family.
